This hotel offers great value for money with its reasonable prices. The attention to detail can be seen in the tasteful decoration and period style of the rooms. The location, situated on a hill, provides marvellous panoramic views of the countryside. The homemade preserves served at breakfast are absolutely scrumptious.
All was well and exceeded our expectations.

Staff at the hotel were accommodating. Even the Exeter International airport was not so far. Fantastic base for weekend in Okehampton.
Nothing to dislike.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. the value for money was outstanding. With prices starting at £28 per person for bed and breakfast, it was an absolute steal. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms, although slightly dated, added to the character of the hotel and were comfortable and clean. But the real highlight was the location. Situated on a hill, this hotel offered marvellous panoramic views of the countryside. Some rooms even had balconies, allowing guests to enjoy the gorgeous view from the comfort of their own room. Lastly, the breakfast was something to write home about. With locally sourced produce and homemade preserves, it was a delectable start to the day.
All was absolutely fine, nothing to complain about here.

Good-sized room as I expected. The fact that it's close to the Museum of Dartmoor Life was a really nice bonus. Also, being near the airport makes getting there a breeze! ✈️

Had an incredible New Year stay at a charming country house hotel. The location was perfect, surrounded by stunning countryside and within easy reach of local attractions. The staff were friendly and attentive, always willing to help and make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and included locally sourced ingredients, a great way to start the day! It was also great to have access to WiFi and the on-site parking was a bonus.
Some minor renovations were taking place during our stay, but it did not detract from our overall enjoyment. The car park was slightly cramped, but there was always a space available when we needed it.

Located on a hill, this B&B is perfectly situated for the Polar Express event at Okehampton station. It is also a short drive to the nearest beach or tourist attraction. the town centre, with its variety of eating establishments, is just a 10-minute walk away. the rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms. the service is friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast is freshly cooked and generous. the house has a lovely view over the town and surrounding hills.
The rooms could benefit from a bed upgrade.

Had a lovely new year at the serene country house. the warm and friendly welcome from the owners made us feel right at home. the breakfast was freshly prepared and tasted great, especially the home-made sausages. the room was quiet, clean, and comfortably furnished, with a beautiful view of the surroundings. It was easy to walk to the local town center and explore the local restaurants and shops. Another advantage was the convenient location, with a supermarket close by for anything we needed.
The shower head was positioned a bit awkwardly, making it difficult to use properly, but it was not too much of an issue. the Wi-Fi was a bit slow and required an extra fee for access, but it was understandable given the rural location of the house.
